In attempts to keep everyone up-to-date on our precious little Kale, I've decided to start this blog. I thought it would be fun to document his life through writing, and this seems an appropriate outlet to do so. So since he's already 10 weeks old, let's back up a bit and revisit his life thus far :)
Kale was born on July 9, 2009 at 5:59 p.m. weighing 6 lbs. 10 oz. and was 19.5 inches long.
Kale was so lucky to be welcomed to this world by both sets of grandparents, aunts and uncles, and plenty of mommy and daddy's friends! We brought our little man home from the hospital on our 3 year wedding anniversary, and I couldn't think of a better anniversary gift! Of course, our animals a.k.a. "furbabies" were ecstatic to meet the newest edition to the family. They joined Josh in Kale's room to celebrate his homecoming!
A few tidbits about Kale's first month of life....
~He has had unbelievable head control since birth :)
~He has quite the personality already-- he doesn't like to sleep very much but doesn't cry much either. He's very social and alert. He loves to be around lots of people and loud noises.
~He wore newborn clothes until he was almost 7 weeks old!
~He rolled over a few times...we think it was a fluke because he hasn't done it much since, but he was about 2 weeks old the first time he officially rolled over.
