Time is just flying by...

Well well well...I can't believe how fast time is passing these days. Drew is now 3 months old and is just as sweet as ever. He smiles all the time and "talks" a lot and is just a darling, easy boy. The wild child, Kale, is turning 2 on July 9 and it makes me sad to see how fast he's growing up. We celebrated his birthday with a low-key party this past weekend and had a blast. Of course he got more toys and presents than needed, but he and his buddies all seemed to have fun in the jump house/slide and baby pools we had set up. Kale talks all the time now, still loves his tractors dearly and is into Bob the Builder, Thomas the Train, Sesame Street and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. He had his 2 year check-up and was 24.6 pounds (10th percentile for height and weight and 80th percentile for head circumference). Dr. Flowers said he's doing just great! Besides that, our summer is just flying by. We went to Illinois for Franma's birthday and a friend's wedding, the beach, will celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary on July 11, and head back to Illinois for Holly's wedding then back to the beach for the Rodman reunion/Grandma Katie's 95th birthday all before heading back to work. Here are some pics of what we've been up to :) Enjoy!Kale's cute invitations :)
Drew's starting to hold his head up really well during tummy time...he gives me the cutest smirks!

Watching the fireworks at Cleary Lake...he loved them!
About to go tubing for the first time...

The smile stayed on his face the entire time-- thanks Uncle Josh!

Silly boy loves the water and to be outside!
Josh and I went to the coast to celebrate our 5 year anniversary a little early. We had a blast at the Imperial Palace. It was nice spending time together alone, even if it was just 1 night, but I sure missed my babies!
